Description

The Tre Monti Sangiovese Riserva ‘Petrignone’ is a powerful and elegant red wine from Emilia-Romagna that masterfully showcases the characteristic qualities of the Sangiovese grape. Made from 100% Sangiovese, it displays an intense ruby ??red color with deep reflections and unfolds a complex bouquet of red fruits, cherries, slightly spicy notes, and subtle balsamic accents that underscore its depth and elegance.

On the palate, the ‘Petrignone’ is full-bodied, harmonious, and balanced, with a fine tannin structure, clear fruitiness, and elegant acidity that lend the wine power and structure. The finish is long, persistent, and precise, with the typical regional aromas of the Romagna DOC remaining clearly perceptible.

This red wine is an excellent accompaniment to hearty meat dishes, grilled meats, mature cheeses, or special occasions, but it also unfolds its full aromatic potential when enjoyed on its own. Cantina Tre Monti places great emphasis on meticulous vineyard work and precise vinification, resulting in a high-quality, authentic Sangiovese that convincingly conveys the elegance, depth, and typicity of Emilia-Romagna.
